About Hongkong Land

• Legal entity: Hongkong Land Holdings Limited, a listed company. Hongkong Land is a member of the Jardine Matheson group.
• Founded: 1889.
• Scale: as of early 2025, a mixed-use property portfolio of more than 850,000 m², with flagship developments in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai.
• Current direction: in October 2024, the group announced it would focus on prime commercial complexes in Asia's gateway cities. Hongkong Land is making no new investment in build-to-sell residential; existing projects continue through to completion.

Hoa Lam and The Marq's project entity. On 26 March 2019, Hongkong Land and Hoa Lam Corporation jointly announced the launch of The Marq. Hoa Lam has operated since 1988 in banking, healthcare and real estate, and is a founder of VietBank and, as of 2020, one of its major shareholders.

The project's investing entity is NDC An Khang Joint Stock Company. In mid-2018, Ho Chi Minh City approved NDC An Khang to invest in the 5,146.4 m² land plot at 29B Nguyen Dinh Chieu. The Marq is jointly developed by Hongkong Land and An Khang.

The Marq — former District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

• Location: 29B Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Da Kao Ward, former District 1, on the corner of Mac Dinh Chi Street.
• Scale: 2 towers of 26 floors, 515 apartments from 1 to 4 bedrooms and penthouses.
• Amenities: 30 m swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, rooftop garden.
• Timeline: introduced at the end of March 2019 and officially launched on 11–12 May 2019. Hongkong Land welcomed the first residents on 3–7 December 2021.
• Legal note: Information published in October 2021 indicates that the State Audit Office found the project's approved building density exceeded the zoning plan, that land use fees were determined late, and that additional financial obligations arising from the planning adjustment had not been determined. HPR has not found mainstream press reports on how this was resolved. When buying a unit, you should check the certificate and the financial obligations of that specific unit.

The Nassim — Thao Dien, Ho Chi Minh City

Hongkong Land's first apartment project in Vietnam, in partnership with SonKim Land from September 2015. The Nassim has 238 high-end apartments in the Thao Dien area.

Central Building and 63 Ly Thai To — Hanoi

Hongkong Land entered Vietnam through the Central Building joint venture in Hanoi, later adding the 63 Ly Thai To office and retail building. In 2019, both buildings were fully let.
